Below are pictures of what we did on Monday.... Wyatt and Chloe colored together and then had a tea party!!! Wyatt better watch out... before you know it, Chloe will be playing dress up with him!
I am a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) baby. My diaphragm developed with a hole in it and my organs were misplaced in my chest cavity. The organs pushed on my lungs, causing one lung to be very small. I was born on October 9, 2007 at Johns Hopkins. Now it is three years later: I am saying a bunch of words, I still receive foods through a g-tube and am on oxygen while I sleep. I can't walk yet, but believe I can out scoot anyone! Here is the story of my amazing and patient recovery.

GI appointment
Today we had an appointment with the GI doctor at Hopkins and we really like him! According to their scale, Wyatt weighs 13lbs 3 oz which puts him in the 3rd percentile for his age group. He is 25 inches long which is the 50th percentile and his head circumference is 41 cm which is the 40th percentile. The doctor is very pleased with Wyatt but said that Wyatt needs to gain weight. His feeds were increased from 31 ml to 35 ml/hr. He also stopped the Carafate and prescribed cream for Wyatt's g-tube site. It's just a little red, which is normal and it's not infected, but this cream help. Wyatt is starting to grab and pull my hair and then laugh!! Is this what boys do??? On Thursday is the appointment with the cardiologist. Chloe also enjoyed playing with her friend Savannah while we were at the appointment. We are also so happy for baby Sofia who came off ECMO today after 12 days. Her repair surgery may be tomorrow, so please keep her in your prayers.
