Chloe giving Molly the juice box

What is cooler than drinking juice together!!

We had a nice relaxing weekend. On Monday, we packed the family up and ventured to Main Street (about 1 mile away) to see the Memorial Day Parade. Wyatt sat like a big boy in the stroller (not in the infant car seat) so he could see it all. We ran into our friends Amy and Jobe who are parent's of Lily and Molly and so we had an impromptu cookout. It was a lot of fun and Wyatt's first time at a party! He decided to sleep most of the time though. Chloe had a great time playing with her old pals... Molly and Lily. Lori was Molly, Lily, and Chloe's nanny before she moved far, far, far away.
Wyatt is overall generally happy. At times he will turn to the side in pain and it takes a little while to settle him down. This happens in the mornings and nights mostly. Infants and Toddlers came by to work on Wyatt today and Wyatt did fantastic! Wyatt loves to put his bib in his mouth and suck on his fingers. Wyatt is also starting to talk more often and he loves to stick out his tongue at me and grab my nose and hair (is this what boys do??) He was weighed today and now is 15 lbs 8 oz.We now have a new night nurse who is very sweet and gentle towards Wyatt and we are very happy!!!
Also, congratulations to Drew for getting no more TPN!! This is a HUGE success and we are so happy for him. Congratulations to Sofia for going home tomorrow, and congratulations for Skyla for making a complete turn around and thriving!! We love to hear great news. Our upcoming appointments next week include ENT, GI, and Neurosurg. I am hoping to wean Wyatt from some of his meds which is our next goal. By the way, Wyatt is stating 99-100 percent on 1/4 liter of oxygen which is a huge improvement since he caught his cold. It's not bad for having part of the intestines in the chest. Maybe they fell back down, whatever goes up, must come down... we can only be hopeful.
