Last night, we went outside to play before bedtime. Benji's parents gave Chloe an awesome playhouse for her 2nd birthday! It's so cool... it has two doors, two windows with shutters, flower box, two little stools with a shelf so they she can make "lemonade" and a little front porch with two tiny benches. I love just watching her imagination soar when she is playing inside of it. She loves it and we really appreciate the gift. Chloe also had a lot of fun discovering a sunflower in our garden. I planted a vegetable garden this year and nothing but weeds are growing and a few sunflowers. I think my green thumb disappeared during pregnancy and never came back:)) Wyatt had fun playing with our neighbors.. he laughed, waved hi! and enjoyed watching everyone.
I am a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) baby. My diaphragm developed with a hole in it and my organs were misplaced in my chest cavity. The organs pushed on my lungs, causing one lung to be very small. I was born on October 9, 2007 at Johns Hopkins. Now it is three years later: I am saying a bunch of words, I still receive foods through a g-tube and am on oxygen while I sleep. I can't walk yet, but believe I can out scoot anyone! Here is the story of my amazing and patient recovery.
