I am a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) baby. My diaphragm developed with a hole in it and my organs were misplaced in my chest cavity. The organs pushed on my lungs, causing one lung to be very small. I was born on October 9, 2007 at Johns Hopkins. Now it is three years later: I am saying a bunch of words, I still receive foods through a g-tube and am on oxygen while I sleep. I can't walk yet, but believe I can out scoot anyone! Here is the story of my amazing and patient recovery.

Shh.... Don't tell Chloe...
Chloe loves Sesame Street so to surprise her for her party tomorrow, Benji and I stayed up late to make these ELMO cupcakes! We used my nifty Pampered Chef icing syringe??? to make the icing look like fur, orange gum drops for the nose, marshmallows cut in half with the sticky side up for the eyes, and chocolate chips for the eye balls. I hope she likes them!!!

Oh my gosh...those are awesome. Your little girl is adorable and I am sure she will love those cupcakes.
I was always impressed with your ability to juggle two little ones, but now I'm amazed because I realize how young Chloe must have been when you received Wyatt's diagnosis and that she was barely a year old when you became the mom of 2. I don't know how you balanced it all especially during Wyatt's stay in the NICU.
Chloe and Wyatt have some great parents!
Paula (the other Wyatt's mom)
You guys are the best parents ever!!! I don't know how you do it all!!!
