Saturday night we went over my good friend Laura's house for an impromptu dinner... but when Laura invites you over for dinner it's always gourmet, even if it's impromptu!! We had a delicious chicken Caesar salad with a fancy dressing and grown up hot chocolate. The best fun of all was watching the kids play together. Chloe is at a terrific age where she is starting to play with other kids. She had a lot of fun playing with Jack and Ethan... especially jumping on the couch. Wyatt had a great time watching. Both kids slept in this morning until 9am... even Wyatt who normally wakes up at 6am. Thank you Laura and Eric for a memorable, enjoyable night!!
Today we went shopping for a big girl bed for Chloe. We made the mistake of telling her that we are buying her one and now everyday she asks about it. We have been to every furniture store in our town and I can not find one that I like. We are looking for a white wood daybed with a trundle. I think I might settle for a white metal one that we found... we'll see!!
This week Wyatt has a hearing test scheduled just because our pediatrician says that all CDH babies should get tested after a year since he was on ECMO and O2. I also have an appointment at Hopkins with two other CDH moms.... (I am sure Vicki Jensen will be sharing with you her latest idea:))) Next week, Wyatt has a pulmonogoist appointment and his monthly RSV shot. Busy, Busy!!
