Ravens or Steelers?

We turn into football fans when the games near the Super Bowl. Since our hometown Baltimore Ravens are in the playoffs, we will be watching the game tomorrow. Wyatt, Chloe and their friends Lily and Molly are big football fans but for the opposite teams!!! So will it be the RAVENS....

OR will it be the Steelers?

Ring Around the Rosy....

All Fall Down!!

Gran and Grandad (Benji's parents) are visiting for the weekend to celebrate his birthday. We had an enjoyable weekend so far just lounging around and playing with the kids. Today Benji smoked baby back ribs or the grill for hours and they were delicious!! We did have a small adventure today. When I was putting Wyatt in his crib, his ENTIRE g-tube pulled out of his body.... not just the connector, but the balloon and everything. This never happened. Each time his g-tube needed to be replaced, we were either in the hospital or in a doctor's office. So being a weekend, with no nursing, we remained calm, (Wyatt was in a little bit of pain since the entire balloon squeezed through the little hole, but he calmed down quickly). I retrieved our spare kit, washed the area, put on my gloves, filled 5 cc's of sterile water in the syringe, put the g-tube in his stomach, filled the balloon, and then tested it by drawing out the water again and putting it back in. Then I grabbed my stethoscope, pushed a little air in his tummy through a syringe and checked for placement by hearing a small gush of air enter his stomach. This was the first time I ever did any of this. I was always the observer. So...a year ago, I knew very little about medical stuff... and today I saved us a trip to the emergency room! (the hole closes if the g-tube is not replaced). Go Ravens!!

wow... it sounds like you performed surgery. You should post step-by-step instructions just in case that happens to any of your blog friends with similar situations.

The images are really tiny.
