I am a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) baby. My diaphragm developed with a hole in it and my organs were misplaced in my chest cavity. The organs pushed on my lungs, causing one lung to be very small. I was born on October 9, 2007 at Johns Hopkins. Now it is three years later: I am saying a bunch of words, I still receive foods through a g-tube and am on oxygen while I sleep. I can't walk yet, but believe I can out scoot anyone! Here is the story of my amazing and patient recovery.

First Sleep over
Since we don't have any nursing throughout the 4th of July holiday weekend, we decided to go to my parents for Wyatt to have his very first sleep over!! (besides the hospital, but that does not count!) I packed the car full of oxygen, power cords, medical supplies and off we went!! Wyatt did awesome and slept through the entire night. I slept in the same room with him and he only woke up twice. I however, hardly slept:)) We had a busy day yesterday with a pool party at my friend Cristina's house and then a cook out with my best friend Teaette and two of her kids, her parents, my sister and husband, and my parents. Today we have a lunch with Chloe friends and then off to see Benji's band play!! Pictures to come!!
