A view out Wyatt's window
This hospital stuff gets boring sometimes...
I am ready for my dinner!!
Mom-mom and Wyatt...
The pictures above is a view of the dome from Wyatt's hospital room at Hopkins, Wyatt yawning (I think I was boring to him), Chloe's first experience at a Japanese Steak House and my mom holding Wyatt. What a busy day! I wanted to be at Hopkins early so that I could talk to the doctors who examine Wyatt before he left for Mt.Washington. There were two pieces of exciting news today. First, Dr. Carson and Judy, the PA came by to see Wyatt. They decided to keep the flow of the shunt the same since it's working fine Since Wyatt had a CT of his head over the weekend, I asked about the right temporal lobe bleed and Dr. Carson said, "What bleed? I didn't see at bleed in the right temporal lobe." Then he smiled and said, "God is Good!" Can you believe that there is no evidence of this bleed in the right lobe!!! What a miracle!! Wyatt also still had his central line in his chest so before he left, a surgeon came by to remove it. The central line has been our safety net for Wyatt since he has difficult access to his veins. Taking it out is a little scary, but it's one less tube and one step closer to home. Before we left Hopkins, Wyatt and I got to sit quietly in the sunlight overlooking the dome and watching the wind vane move back and forth. It was a very peaceful end to our stay at Hopkins. When we arrived at Mt.Washington around 2:30pm, I asked Wyatt's doctor how long would he be at the Mount... expecting her to say about 2 weeks.... AND.... she said THURSDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow!!! I am super excited, but also freaking out because I have a million things to do at home. We have to set up the shift nursing, meet with the equipment company, learn how to take care of his g-tube, feeds, oxygen, and move Chloe into her new room. But we WILL be ready... I have been waiting for this day to come for a long time and I don't want anything to delay it!!! Can you believe that our little boy may come home this week???

HOORAY!!!!!!!!!!! This is the post I've been waiting for! I am going to pray like crazy that Thursday is the big day. This is SO EXCITING! I know you're probably nervous but you know Wyatt better then anyone and once he's home he's going to really take off and do great. This means he's one step closer to meeting Jack for a play date too! Our whole family is so thrilled. Be a good boy like always Wyatt and get home soon!
