I am a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) baby. My diaphragm developed with a hole in it and my organs were misplaced in my chest cavity. The organs pushed on my lungs, causing one lung to be very small. I was born on October 9, 2007 at Johns Hopkins. Now it is three years later: I am saying a bunch of words, I still receive foods through a g-tube and am on oxygen while I sleep. I can't walk yet, but believe I can out scoot anyone! Here is the story of my amazing and patient recovery.

More pics from the weekend....
Our friend, Susan who I worked with in Harford County's father was an industrial arts teacher at North Harford Middle School (I worked with her Dad too). Jim is very talented and made a small wooden chair for Wyatt with his name engraved. He also made an additional chair to auction off at the benefit. Well... my parents purchased the small chair so that Chloe could also have a chair. The chairs are Chloe's FAVORITE thing to play with. She moves them around the house for "story time" and she uses it to stand on to look at Wyatt in his crib. She insists that Wyatt sits in one chair as she sits in the other. Sometimes her favorite stuffed animal- PIG sits in the chair too and I have to read books to all her "friends" Thank you Susan and Jim.... the chairs are getting a lot of use!!

Yes Gina, me too. You should frame some of the pics with Wyatt and the towel.
