I am a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) baby. My diaphragm developed with a hole in it and my organs were misplaced in my chest cavity. The organs pushed on my lungs, causing one lung to be very small. I was born on October 9, 2007 at Johns Hopkins. Now it is three years later: I am saying a bunch of words, I still receive foods through a g-tube and am on oxygen while I sleep. I can't walk yet, but believe I can out scoot anyone! Here is the story of my amazing and patient recovery.

update #2
The docs also decided to do an IV contrast as well as throught he g-tube. We just got out of the CT scan and we are waiting for the results. Wyatt was strapped down so tightly like a mummy... I felt so bad for him, but now he is sleeping soundly. They also just did a blood culture and a special IV to equalize the acid in his stomach. Stay tuned for the results...

Gina,
I hope you guys get some answers finally and that it's nothing that requires Wyatt to stay at Hopkins!! If you need anything we're only 45 minutes away! I'll be on pins and needles until I hear how Wyatt made out!
Keeping fingers, toes, legs, etc crossed!
