It's been a little while since I blogged... it's because it has been an uneventful summer and I am very thankful for that. The summer is coming to a close and overall it's been relaxing compared to the winter. I am a mentor teacher so things will start becoming busy at work and it will be fun to get to know all the new teachers. They came back on Friday. It was a beautiful weekend so we celebrated by taking the kids to the zoo! After Wyatt napped a little, he enjoyed watching the monkeys, which was his favorite. Chloe is at the perfect age for the zoo. She knew every animal and enjoyed feeding the giraffes, watching people take camel rides, watching the polar bear kick off from the rocks, and her favorite animal ---- get ready for this it's exciting- a GOAT!! Yes...my daughter loved the goat... why did I pay $30.00 to see a goat when we could of just went to a local farm to see a goat!! oh well! Going to the zoo was our first time taking a day trip with both kids and I think it took us three times as long as the average family to tour the zoo... but it was all worth it. Tomorrow, Benji and Wyatt are hanging out together while Chloe and I go to the beach... one last fling before school starts! I am looking forward to taking Wyatt to the beach next year.
My life is becoming more balanced now that we are not going to the hospital everyday. I love reading the Simple Mom blog. She has all kinds of tips of simplying your life. This mom seems like a super hero! This is going to be a busy week ahead... Thursday- Tastefully Simple Party (if you know me and what to attend- send me an e-mail), Friday- Neighborhood Girls Night, Saturday- Cook-out with old friends, co-workers, Sunday- CHLOE's 2nd Birthday Party (just a few little girls/boys), Monday- Dutch Wonderland and possibly on Tuesday the Wiggles!!!
