I am a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) baby. My diaphragm developed with a hole in it and my organs were misplaced in my chest cavity. The organs pushed on my lungs, causing one lung to be very small. I was born on October 9, 2007 at Johns Hopkins. Now it is three years later: I am saying a bunch of words, I still receive foods through a g-tube and am on oxygen while I sleep. I can't walk yet, but believe I can out scoot anyone! Here is the story of my amazing and patient recovery.

Floor Time and Bath Time!
Today we spent the day at home and Wyatt had a nice long bath with the help of Chloe. Wyatt is now sitting up with out support in his bath tub and enjoys splashing the water. Well... we always create a huge mess during bath time because on Sunday's because I clip his fingernails, clean out his ears really good, put extra thick lotion on him, vaseline his lips, change all the oxygen tubing. Afterwards, Wyatt enjoyed floor time. He loves playing instruments like the little piano and the drums... I think he just likes hitting things with his drum stick in general... such a boy!! Wyatt and Chloe are enjoying their grandparents (Benji's parents) since they are staying with us for this week... pictures to come!!

Honestly, our boys do everything in sync! Jack had an extra long bath today and then he was banging on his drums and piano too! My parents heard him over the phone and didn't believe it was him...haha.
Maybe Wyatt & Jack will start a rock band. I wonder what they'll call themselves? I assume Chloe will be the singer :-)
