I am a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) baby. My diaphragm developed with a hole in it and my organs were misplaced in my chest cavity. The organs pushed on my lungs, causing one lung to be very small. I was born on October 9, 2007 at Johns Hopkins. Now it is three years later: I am saying a bunch of words, I still receive foods through a g-tube and am on oxygen while I sleep. I can't walk yet, but believe I can out scoot anyone! Here is the story of my amazing and patient recovery.

Just Curious....
I am just curious who reads Wyatt's blog. I posted a poll at the top of the blog and I would really appreciate if you vote... even if you are just a blog lurker and never leave comments. Don't worry... I have no idea who you are. I am just curious who reads Wyatt's blog. When you read the poll, you may find that you fall under a few categories, but choose the one that best fits you. If you have a child with CDH, then choose "parents of CDH", if one of my friends or family members told you about this blog and you are reading it, then choose "friend of a friend." If you know us personally, then choose "friend or family." If you don't know us or any of our friends, or do not have a child with CDH, then choose "stranger." I really appreciate your vote and thank you for supporting Wyatt and our family. You only have 6 days to vote, so please VOTE!!! Also, feel free to leave a comment about yourself. I would love to get to know my fellow blog readers and feel free to share your blog!

It's so nice to see the nurses and doctors following Wyatt's blog. If it wasn't for them and the wonderful, caring work they do, there would be no blog. Without the great dedicated nurses and doctors and God we would not have Wyatt. Thank you nurses and doctors! Wyatt's mom-mom
