Making Pesto!

My mom, Chloe, and myself starting making the first batch of pesto. We mixed pine nuts, garlic, lots of basil, olive oil, and parmesan cheese together, put it in a food processor, and freezed portions in ice cube containers. We will soon have a stock of pesto for meat marinade, pasta topping, and sandwich spread!

Step 1- Taking the stems off the leaves, tearing them up and washing the leaves...


All done! Putting pesto in ice cube trays to freeze.


You don't have to tell me.. I know it looks gross... kinda like baby poop... but it tastes so good!!
