I am a Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia (CDH) baby. My diaphragm developed with a hole in it and my organs were misplaced in my chest cavity. The organs pushed on my lungs, causing one lung to be very small. I was born on October 9, 2007 at Johns Hopkins. Now it is three years later: I am saying a bunch of words, I still receive foods through a g-tube and am on oxygen while I sleep. I can't walk yet, but believe I can out scoot anyone! Here is the story of my amazing and patient recovery.

A day at the Zoo!!
Love this double stroller my friend Laura is lending me.. it's a sit/stand for Chloe and Wyatt rides in the front!! This is the BEST invention!!! It saved us tons of time!
We decided for vacation this year to stay local! So we are exploring all that our area has to offer... so far we have been strawberry picking, Dutch Wonderland, and today was Wyatt's choice, so he picked the ZOO of course!! (since he is learning all about animals). It was a beautiful day and the zoo was not crowded at all. We saw every exhibit and both kids were in great moods!! We went last year, but Wyatt was fussy at times, but this time around he loved it!! It really was the first time the four of us went on a day trip together with both kids happy:))

And it looks like Wyatt spent a good bit of time off his oxygen as well? What fun and great animal pics!

Hey, wait a minute! Didn't this wonder boy just have surgery...less than 2 weeks ago??? He looks like he is doing so amazing! And off the oxygen too! Wyatt's nickname should be superball...because he just bounces back again and again and again!
Looks like lots of fun! Gotta come our way to do the national zoo sometime this year!
So happy you're loving the stroller!
Laura
Wyatt sure did bounce back from his surgery fast this time. He is looking like a little boy now - all grown up. Chloe just gets more beautiful by the day. Glad to hear you guys had such a great time at the zoo! I can't wait to take Jack and his little sister this fall!
